Riding On The Rough Sea

Like most of us in the tourism industry, we are all in the same rough sea but on different boats. Some of them are on bigger boats with much stronger sustaining flotation. Some of us on small rafts rocking away and yet still keeping afloat. The worst hit will be the tourist guides. Diversify is the only key to survival in this trying time. The word hope doesn't exist but only look forward to different opportunities. 

 

 

I feel that this writer was probably over exaggerating a bit. Going out casting net to catch shrimps and small fishes is a common local Langkawians favorite past time. They can be taxi drivers, hoteliers, store keepers, managers, business owners or anyone!
